Almost every single function in our body requires thyroid hormone. When that process is interrupted, symptoms such as fatigue, heat and cold intolerance, weight gain, joint and back pain, hair loss, brain fog and infertility are common and potentially just the beginning of a long list.
Not only will we dissect all of your symptoms in depth but you'll become educated and informed about why this is happening to your body. It is estimated that roughly fifty million Americans suffer from some sort of metabolic disease. It is also estimated that fifty million Americans have some sort of thyroid disorder. Coincidence?
In 2016, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease. Two years of meeting with doctors and specialists afforded me little symptom relief. After intensive research and becoming my own health advocate, I put auto immune thyroid disease into remission naturally.
About My Approach
The three pillars of Integrative Health are Mind, Body and Spirit. My approach takes into account all aspects of a person's life which are many times forgotten when conventional medicine doctors attempt to treat patients, especially patients with thyroid disease. 80% of your health is determined by lifestyle factors. We can absolutely change our genes. I put Hashimoto's Thyroiditis into remission via dietary changes, high quality supplements and mindfulness. The power of positive habits and mindset can overcome the hereditary aspect of disease. Our bodies are designed to heal themselves, we must allow for that. We implement small and practical action oriented steps to get you back to optimal health.
